Kimberly Whaley has been a proud booster parent for the Cordova High School band for 10 years. She started her musical career in high school at Northwest High in Clarksville, TN; where she was an all-county and mid-state recognized clarinet player. During her last years in high school, she served as drum major and was a member of the winter guard in the off season. Her children have also chosen to follow in her footsteps and have become musicians themselves including: 2 clarinet players, 1 trumpet, and 1 percussionist. She received her Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from THE Tennessee State University. Mrs. Whaley is currently an Occupational Therapist and has been serving the Memphis community for the past 20 years. She has been happily married to her husband Darwin Whaley who currently serves as the president of the band boosters. Mrs. Whaley has always been a strong mentor for the students within the band and is excited to continue this for the upcoming year.
